The Lay Leadership certificate program provides a strong foundation in the biblical and theological essentials of the Christian faith and is open to anyone who desires to deepen their knowledge of God, his Word and Christian ministry.
The courses for this certificate were developed by the Bay Area School of Ministry (BASOM) for the formation of pastoral and lay leaders serving the Church in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Certificate candidates commit to a two-year program that involves courses in the areas of biblical knowledge, theology, Christian leadership, soul care, and more.

- Pastoral Toolbox
Courses are offered each quarter and students may begin at any time.
Classes are typically held Monday nights at Sequoia Church in Redwood City and courses are usually around $250 each.
