JOIN THE MISSION
Your pathway to ministry in the Bay Area starts here.
Together, we're preparing leaders and strengthening churches in the Bay Area and beyond.
The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the most unchurched and spiritually complex regions in the country. As many of the institutions that once trained ministry leaders have closed or left the region, churches face a growing need for faithful, well-equipped leaders. BASOM exists to bridge the theological training gap in the Bay.
Through biblical education, ministry experience, and pastoral mentoring, BASOM prepares students to serve faithfully for the long haul in a region that continues to need greater gospel investment.
Deep theology.
Real ministry.
Lasting impact.

BASOM Courses
BASOM courses provide a strong foundation in biblical studies, theology, leadership, and spiritual formation while remaining deeply connected to the realities of ministry in the local church. Every resident and certificate student moves through the same eight courses — one per quarter — over two years.
