COURSE INFORMATION

Topic: The Church: Identity and Mission in a Post-Christian Context

Course Description: Theologians use the term ecclesiology to describe the theology of the church. Traditional ecclesiology examines the identity of the church, the government of the church, the ordinances of the church, and the ministries and mission of the church. We will explore these, but we will also go beyond traditional ecclesiology and explore how the Gospel-centered church can not just survive but thrive in a post-Christian culture such as the San Francisco Bay Area.
